The faculty of Science was started in the year 2005 keeping in mind that the young women of this rural area are not left behind in the race of academic achievements. The faculty of Science offers B.Sc. from the inception in Botany, Zoology. Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Each department has maintained high standards of teaching and created great interests in Science among these students. This is possible only because of the hard work and dedication of very well qualified. highly talented. and very dynamic teachers of these departments. Science faculty has produced very good results in University examinations. Because of such great results, very attracting laboratories. and other remarkable facilities. the number of students enrolled each year is increasing substantially.

The Faculty started M.Sc. in Chemistry and Botany from the year 2013 to provide unique opportunities to the young women of this rural area. who. otherwise. could not prosper academically. M.Sc. in Zoology is also expected to be started from July 2016. Some of the faculty members have very high academic achievements and are the members of the Editorial Board of reputed journals. They have published many research papers in national and international journals.
